Jeff Benson is principally active in the corporate and commercial field and routinely advises on banking and secured financing, securities, mergers and acquisitions, health law, administrative law and related litigation. Jeff is a former President of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and has served on many Law Society and Federal/Provincial Government working committees. He is past chair of the Board of Governors of the Law Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador. Jeff is a graduate of Dalhousie Law School, was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1980 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel (new King’s Counsel) in 2002.
